Ugly turkey has lucky escape
A turkey has been spared ending up on the dinner plate this Christmas - as he's too ugly.

Wilbur is underweight, has no tail feathers, a misshapen body and walks with a limp.
He's the only bird remaining at the pick-your-own turkey farm in Totnes, Devon.

Farm owner Peter Hayford told The Sun: "This was his first Christmas and it was meant to be his last. But no one chose him because of his appearance

Elsie celebrates birthday on wrong date
A great grandmother has discovered she's been celebrating her birthday on the wrong day for 99 years.



Elsie Aslett's error was only revealed when her family asked for her to receive a telegram from the Queen.



Her family discovered she's been celebrating her birthday four days earlier her whole life when a pensions official spotted a discrepancy on her birth certificate.



Elsie told the Daily Mirror: "It came as a bit of a surprise. But at least it meant I could milk my celebrations for longer."


Elsie was born on December 18, 1908 - registered by her mum, Elizabeth White, at Kennington, London.


Relatives believe her mother Liz, who died at 92 in 1966, simply got Elsie's birthday confused after having eight children.


Widowed Elsie has four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.


Elsie's daughter Brenda, said: "It was a complete surprise to her. Everyone always told her she was born on the 14th. Apparently her mum was rather fond of a drink so she may have been a bit confused."

ROSE PHOTO STUDIO, TUTONG..

Last weekend, on my way to KB, i drop-by at HAN's Rose Photo Studio at Tutong. Its really an easy place to find as it is situated just in front of the Tutong Police station.. There, i heard voices calling my name and to my surprise, i saw an abandoned Sigma lens waiting to be adopted.. hehehe.. A 2ND HAND SIGMA 10-20MM NIKON MOUNT .. wah.. one of the lens in my wishlist. The price was BND $650.00 . How i wish i've extra cash to adopt it... hahaha...pun sia sia saja lah... well below was my try out with the Sigma lens and my oh my, its wide and i love to get that lens one day... sets of flash units The lenses mostly nikon and canon kits are sold here.. my camera siblings.. meet my baby's new siblings, the awesome D90.
