Light saber sold for $240,000



Luke skywalker's light saver has been on Star Wars fan's wish lists for more than 30 years.
On thursday, one fan spent US$240,000 to get the real thing: the prop that actor Mark Hamil used in the first two movies in the original "Star Wars" trilogy.
The light saber highlighted several Hollywood memorabilia sold at an auction in Los Angeles by Profiles in History.The auction house said it sold about US$3.5 millions in memorabilia.
The droid helmet worn by Anothony Daniels to play C3-PO sold for US$120,000 and the custome Marlon Brando wore in the"Superman" movie went for US$72,000.

ROSE PHOTO STUDIO, TUTONG..

Last weekend, on my way to KB, i drop-by at HAN's Rose Photo Studio at Tutong. Its really an easy place to find as it is situated just in front of the Tutong Police station.. There, i heard voices calling my name and to my surprise, i saw an abandoned Sigma lens waiting to be adopted.. hehehe.. A 2ND HAND SIGMA 10-20MM NIKON MOUNT .. wah.. one of the lens in my wishlist. The price was BND $650.00 . How i wish i've extra cash to adopt it... hahaha...pun sia sia saja lah... well below was my try out with the Sigma lens and my oh my, its wide and i love to get that lens one day... sets of flash units The lenses mostly nikon and canon kits are sold here.. my camera siblings.. meet my baby's new siblings, the awesome D90.
