This is one of the photos i've toke during my trip to bukit patoi temburong. I was among the selected participants to join the BRUNEI SHUTTERS Tv program. It was indeed a very challenging competition.. going to temburong on a speed boat, climbing up the Bukit Patoi and trying to get a single shot which will be entered into the competion. The rules was simple, one specific theme given, no editing and only one photo to be entered. Our theme that day was "Nature's Treasure".. more photos of the trip soon...

TAMRON 90MM F2.8 / ISO 400 / F5.6 / A-mode This is my first try on Macro photography using a macro lens, Tamron 90mm f2.9 macro 1:1 to be exact. siuk berabis but difficult berabis, a single turn on the lens and a sudden move will cause it to be out of focus. U really really need a sturdy tripod for this kind of photography. Anyways there are more to come from me for this macro photography.Cheerz, DaniXP Macro Photography on Wiki Macro photography is close-up photography . The classical definition is that the image projected on the "film plane" (i.e., film or a digital sensor) is close to the same size as the subject. On 35 mm film (for example), the lens is typically optimized to focus sharply on a small area approaching the size of the film frame. Most 35mm format macro lenses achieve at least 1:2, that is to say, the image on the film is 1/2 the size of the object being photographed. Many 35mm macro lenses are 1:1, meaning the image on the film is the same size as
