DPMM FC HOPING FOR CONSISTENCY






Hoping for consistency.

Team manager,Pg Waslimin who mentioned that the team is already on the peak on their performance reminded that his boys to show consistency in the upcoming seson of the Super League.

DPMM will begin the season at home playing against Johor FC on the 3rd January before going to Perlis three days later.


"All the players have already been given advice on the training sessions every day and it is up to the players to do it on the match day," said Pg Waslimin.

He also saw some signs on the rise of performance of the team with three wins in Singapore including a win against the Singapore Premier League outfit,Geylang before bringing home a trophy from the Labuan Tournament few days ago.

If the players work as hard with the confidence and put on a good show, DPMM will be able to put up a good performance in this Malaysian top league,he said.

However,Pg Waslimin does not want to rely on the late performance on the last two trips abroad, on the other hand he has been work hard with the coaching staff to strengthen the team in the effort to have another tough friendly against Sarawak as a warm-up match prior to the beginning of the league.


"The players will again be tested in the effort to gain a good match when they play against neighbouring state, Sarawak, that play in the Super League last season but was being relegated this season," added Pg Waslimin.


However,the skipper Rosmin Khamis is also hope for high expectations this season."Although there are no import players this season,we feel that the Super League this season is equal among all the teams because all the teams have their own advantages," he said who has fully recovered from injury.

He was also named as the MVP (Most Valauable Player)in the Labauan Tournament added that high commitment will depend on each team's to be on top.








Brunei DPMM champion in Labuan meet.


Captain Rosmin Khamis of Brunei DPMM scored a dramatic goal from a free-kick to help his team secured a 2-1 win against Pahang to become the champion of the Liberty Labuan Tournament 2008 on Sunday. 14/12/08

In the hard fought game,Yusof Salleh hit a header past Pahang goalkeeper from a corner kick in the 45th minute to take the lead for DPMM.

However,Pahang levelled the score in the second half.The hero for DPMM was capatain Rosmin who scored the winning goal from a free-kick outside the box.

Brunei DPMM won the silverware of the season with a better goal difference in the tournament.
