BAD NEWS FOR DPMM FC


Brunei DPMM FC players fined and banned after Disciplinary Hearing
The FAS Disciplinary Committee convened on Thursday 13 August with regard to the charges against Brunei DPMM FC players Pg Sallehuddin Damit, Yusof Salleh and Rene Komar. Pg Sallehuddin, Yusof and Komar had been charged for violent conduct against the match referee during the Great Eastern – YEO’S S.League match between Brunei DPMM FC and Home United at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Brunei on Sunday 2 August.
  1. Yusof Salleh has been banned from playing or participating in the S.League and all FAS-sanctioned matches and tournaments for 6 months and fined S$1,000.
  2. Pg Sallehuddin Damit has been banned from playing or participating in the S.League and all FAS-sanctioned matches and tournaments for 12 months and fined S$2,000.
  3. Rene Komar has been banned from playing or participating in the S.League and all FAS-sanctioned matches and tournaments for 15 months and fined S$3,000.
The three players admitted to the charges against them which were: Yusof Salleh: Of violent conduct when he confronted match referee K Kalimuthu and manhandled him in the 39th minute of the match. Pg Sallehuddin Damit: (i) Of violent conduct when he confronted match referee K Kalimuthu in an aggressive and threatening manner, manhandled and shoved him in the 39th minute of the match. (ii) Of aggressive behaviour when he attempted to confront the match referee K Kalimuthu in an aggressive and threatening manner along the touchline. Rene Komar: Of violent conduct when he confronted match referee K Kalimuthu, manhandled and punched him in the 39th minute of the match. The bans will take effect immediately.
